We will be part of the premier episode of the American Pickers New Spinoff Game Show
"Picked Off"
When the producers of American Pickers called A Fairhope Antiquery for recommendations of places to hold their new game show "Picked Off" where teams race through a flea market to compete for the best "finds" we immediately recommended The 181 Market in Fairhope.
They met with the manager and chose Fairhope for their premier episode! Keepin' it local!!
We'll be vendors at the market for this episode and would love to have our friends there too! Filming is Saturday, February 25th at 9:30am. The producers want a huge crowd and there is no admission so if you can make it please come on out!!

“American Pickers” follows a team of recyclers who search for forgotten treasures in junkyards, barns and other unlikely spots, then restore the items to their full value as collectible antiques. The new spinoff show, “Picked Off,” brings in an element of competition, with four teams racing to collect the most valuable finds — and a $10,000 prize.
The production crew of the show will visit the 181 Market in Fairhope on Saturday, Feb. 25. Taping will start at 9:30 a.m. and last several hours, according to information provided by the 181 Market.
Admission to the market is free to browsers and spectators. According to market operators, visitors present during the taping should understand that “by entering, you agree that your image may appear in print, TV and/or on the Internet.”
A History Channel publicist said that the series will premiere later this year, but a broadcast schedule has not yet been set.
